DJ/音楽プロデューサーである tofubeats が突発性難聴をきっかけに描き始めた日記を書籍化した2022年の『トーフビーツの難聴日記』。難聴からコロナ禍に突入する音楽業界・本人の結婚までを赤裸々に描いた日記はその後シリーズ化。tofubeats の個人事務所 HIHATT にて続編の ZINE『トーフビーツの(難聴)ダイアリー2022』が2024年に発行された。地道ながらも全国の独立系書店などで好評を博し、このたび ZINE としては2作目の『トーフビーツの(難聴)ダイアリー2023』がついに発売。今回も音楽を生業とする人間のライフスタイルが少し覗ける1冊にもなっているかもしれません。


前作と同じく編集は「和久田書房」の立ち上げでも話題の和久田善彦氏、ブックデザインは小山直基氏が担当。印刷および製本は神戸の旧グッゲンハイム邸内で運営中の塩屋的印刷が担当。

"Tofubeats' Hearing Loss Diary," a 2022 book based on the diary entry DJ/music producer tofubeats began writing after experiencing sudden hearing loss. The candid diary chronicles his experiences, from hearing loss to the COVID-19 pandemic in the music industry and his own marriage, and was later turned into a series. A sequel zine, "Tofubeats' (Hearing Loss) Diary 2022," was published in 2024 by tofubeats' personal office, HIHATT. Despite its slow start, it has garnered positive reviews from independent bookstores across the country, and now his second zine, "Tofubeats' (Hearing Loss) Diary 2023," is finally available. This volume offers a glimpse into the lifestyle of someone who makes a living from music. As with the previous work, the book was edited by Yoshihiko Wakuda, known for launching Wakuda Shobo, and the book was designed by Naoki Koyama. Printing and binding were handled by Shioya Printing, located within the former Guggenheim Residence in Kobe.
