メディア論や生物学を学び、プログラマーとしても活動するシカゴのマルチ･メディア･アーティスト andrew cs。本作は昆虫や小さな生き物の視点をコンセプトにした、繊細で実験的なエレクトロ・アコースティック作品。セッション中や、nornsサウンド･コンピューター用の新しいカスタムデバイスのテスト中に断続的に録音された10曲から構成されており、アコースティックなループを基盤に、日本の環境音楽や90年代のゲーム音楽から着想を得たという柔らかなアナログ･シンセのテクスチャーを加え、まるでミクロの世界に迷い込んだような、不思議で没入感のあるリスニング体験ができる作品に仕上がっております。

Andrew CS, a Chicago-based multimedia artist who studied media theory and biology and also works as a programmer, presents this delicate and experimental electro-acoustic work based on the perspective of insects and small creatures. Composed of 10 tracks recorded intermittently during sessions and testing of a new custom device for the Norns sound computer, the album is built on acoustic loops and incorporates soft analog synth textures inspired by Japanese ambient music and 90s video game music, resulting in a strange and immersive listening experience that makes you feel as if you've wandered into a microscopic world.
