We are now stocking a cassette release from the Russia-based music producer International Telecom, originally issued in November 2023 by Enterprise Records—an Indonesian indie label specializing in vaporwave. Named after the geostationary weather satellite jointly operated by various European nations, the album features ten "signalwave" tracks. As the titles suggest, the music consists of intricately looped and processed audio samples—evoking old satellite broadcasts, late-night TV programs, weather forecast background music, and static noise. The cassette's design, which evokes nostalgia for the television and telecommunications technology of the 1990s and early 2000s, perfectly reflects the album's unique atmosphere!
