ちなみにOrchid Mantisは日本でいう”ハナカマキリ”。メンバーのThomasはゲームで登場するこの昆虫が最も捕まえるのが難しく、気に入ったそう。掴めそうで掴めないこのアルバムのオーガニックでミステリアスなサウンドにぴったり。

The album features ten tracks that fully embrace the ambient/drone genre, captivating listeners with a truly immersive atmosphere and a distinct sonic world.

Incidentally, "Orchid Mantis" refers to the *Hanakamakiri* (flower mantis). Thomas, the artist behind the project, chose the name because this insect—which appears in video games—was the hardest one to catch and became a favorite of his. It is a fitting name for the album's organic yet mysterious sound, which feels elusive—something you can almost grasp but never quite hold onto.
