米フィラデルフィア出身のシューゲイザー/オルタナティブ･ロック･バンド Nothing が、2026年2月にリリースした通算5作目のフル･アルバムをストックいたしました！前作から約6年ぶりとなるスタジオ･アルバムで、名門レーベル Run For Cover Records への移籍第一弾となる本作。これまでのNothingらしいハードコア由来の暴力的な轟音ギターと儚く美しいメロディの融合をベースにしつつ、フィードバック･ノイズにメカニカルなインダストリアル/ブレイクビーツを掛け合わせたり、ハープ奏者の Mary Lattimore が参加した"purple strings"(A5)のようなストリングスを交えたドリーミーな楽曲から、Radiohead を彷彿とさせる繊細なアンビエント調の曲まで、シューゲイザーの枠に囚われない自由で新しいアプローチに挑戦した意欲作に仕上がっております！

We've stocked the fifth full-length album from Philadelphia-based shoegaze/alternative rock band Nothing, released in February 2026! This is their first studio album in approximately six years and their first release since signing with the prestigious label Run For Cover Records. While maintaining Nothing's signature blend of violent, roaring hardcore-derived guitars and ephemeral, beautiful melodies, this ambitious work challenges the boundaries of shoegaze with a free and new approach, incorporating feedback noise with mechanical industrial/breakbeats, dreamy tracks like "purple strings" (A5) featuring harpist Mary Lattimore, and delicate ambient-style songs reminiscent of Radiohead!
