Between【CD】- Low Flying Owls

NY在住のアンビエント･アーティスト Taylor Deupree が主宰する、老舗エレクトロニカ/アンビエント･レーベル 12k から発表された、7人のアーティストによるコラボレーション作品。参加しているのは、主宰者であるレーベル首領  Taylor Deupree、アメリカの電子音楽家 Stephen Vitielloの他、Corey Fuller、Marcus Fischer、Federico Durand、Molly Berg、Michael Grigoniの計7名。主宰の2人による基礎トラックをベースに、各地のアーティストが音を重ねていく手法で作られたという本作。静寂の中で絶えず変化し続ける繊細な音響作品で、12k の美学の集大成とも評されています。

This collaborative work by seven artists was released on 12k, a long-established electronica/ambient label run by NY-based ambient artist Taylor Deupree. The participants are Taylor Deupree, the label's founder, American electronic musician Stephen Vitiello, as well as Corey Fuller, Marcus Fischer, Federico Durand, Molly Berg, and Michael Grigoni. The work was created using a method in which artists from various locations layered sounds on a base track created by the two label founders. It is a delicate sonic work that is constantly changing within silence and has been described as the culmination of 12k's aesthetic.
