Echoes of Stillness【TAPE】- Komachi

長年にわたりマスタリング･エンジニアリングや、エレクトロニック･ミュージックの制作などを手がけ、2021年からビートメーカーとしての活動を本格始動した、東京を拠点とするベテラン音楽家 Komachi が、2025年10月にカナダの Inner Oceanからリリースした7曲入りのEPが到着。Dokkodo Sounds、Lo-Fi Tigers、Paniyolo、yamato といった国内外のローファイ･シーンのアーティストたちがゲスト参加しており、過去に発表されたコラボレーションEPの楽曲を中心に、新たに2曲を加えてまとめられたコンピレーション作品となっております。それぞれの楽曲に、日本の素朴で美しい日常や季節の移り変わりを感じるタイトルが名付けられ、日本ならではのノスタルジックな風景や自然の静けさを想起させる、非常にリラックスできるビート･アルバムが完成しました。

Komachi, a veteran musician based in Tokyo who has worked in mastering engineering and electronic music production for many years and officially launched his career as a beatmaker in 2021, has released a 7-track EP in October 2025 on Canada's Inner Ocean. The EP features guest appearances from lo-fi artists both domestically and internationally, including Dokkodo Sounds, Lo-Fi Tigers, Paniyolo, and yamato. It's a compilation primarily featuring tracks from previously released collaboration EPs, with two new tracks added. Each track is titled in a way that evokes the simple beauty of everyday life and the changing seasons in Japan, resulting in a very relaxing beat album that conjures up nostalgic Japanese landscapes and the tranquility of nature.
