Gemini【TAPE】- El DeBarge

This is the second solo studio album by American R&B singer El DeBarge—formerly a key vocalist of the family group DeBarge—released via Motown Records in 1989. Arriving about two and a half years after his 1986 solo debut, this ambitious, largely self-produced record marks a departure from the pop-oriented sound of his previous work; instead, it features cool funk elements and catchy melodies that showcase his signature beautiful falsetto. The album is also renowned for its stellar lineup of session musicians, featuring top-tier players from the AOR, fusion, and R&B scenes providing the backing. It compiles a total of ten tracks, including the smash hits "Real Love" (A1) and "Somebody Loves You" (A3).
