We have received a 12-track album released in October 2023 by LopMALL, a mysterious producer embodying the anonymity characteristic of vaporwave. The album is built around the peculiar theme of a hovercraft showroom—distinct from typical car dealerships or model home exhibits—and explores the "Mallsoft" sub-genre. It features echo-laden vaporwave sounds created by sampling and manipulating easy-listening and lounge music—the kind one might hear in a nostalgic shopping mall or a corporate showroom from the Bubble Era or the 90s.
