100歳を超えて2023年に逝去した Alberto Juscamaita Gastelú（通称ラクタコ） は、伝統的なアンデスハープの調弦法やフィンガースタイル、リズムを巧みに取り入れ、ヨーロッパ植民地時代に流入した欧州音楽と融合させた音楽家。今回の音源は、最小限の機材で録音された未発表音源で計り知れない文化的価値を持つ宝物だ。さらに、ペルー文化省によって 正式に「文化功労者」として認定 されたことで、ペルー音楽、とりわけアヤクチョのギター伝統に与えた彼の深い影響がようやく正当に評価され始めている🎸

Alberto Juscamaita Gastelú (known as Laktako), who passed away in 2023 at over 100 years old, was a musician who skillfully incorporated traditional Andean harp tuning, fingerstyle techniques, and rhythms, blending them with European music introduced during the colonial era. This recording, made with minimal equipment, is an unreleased treasure of immeasurable cultural value. Furthermore, his formal recognition by Peru's Ministry of Culture as a “Person of Cultural Merit” finally begins to properly acknowledge his profound influence on Peruvian music, particularly the guitar tradition of Ayacucho.
