We now have the cassette edition of the second full-length album by Wendy Wander—a five-piece band featuring male and female dual vocals that has been rapidly gaining a following and attention within Taiwan's indie scene—originally released in December 2023 via the local label Kind of Blue Records! While carrying on the fresh, dreamy indie-pop style established on their debut, this album incorporates elements of synth-pop and electronica, marking an evolution toward a more danceable and mature sound. It compiles nine tracks of sophisticated, urban "City Pop" that evoke the pleasant, crisp atmosphere of a city at night.
