レーベルの看板ミックス･シリーズ『Mitime Tape Series』の13作目に、記念すべき第1作目を飾った KINKA が再登場！1986年にDJキャリアをスタートし、98年頃からは楽曲制作も開始。ジャンル/国境/時代を越えた素晴らしい音楽を、自身のDJや楽曲制作を通じて伝えてきた KINKA。ミックス作品としては約9年ぶりのリリースとなる本作には、広大で奥深い KINKA の音楽地図から紡ぎ出された楽曲たちで描く「魅惑の音の旅」が凝縮されています。パーカッションや幻想的なシンセなどが溶け込むアンビエントな幕開けから、ジャズ/ニューエイジ/フォークロアを中心に、穏やかでメディテーショナルな音世界の中に静かな躍動感をもたらしていくA面。一方のB面では、キューバン･ヴァイオリニストによるマジカルなパーカッシヴ･ディスコ･サウンドから幕を開け、サルサ/ラテン･ジャズ/スピリチュアル･ジャズ/ヒップホップ、そしてラヴァーズ･ロックまでをシームレスにミックス。タイムレスに「Life With Music」を味わわせてくれる名ミックステープ作品が完成！

KINKA—who graced the label's flagship *Mitime Tape Series* with its inaugural release—returns for the series' 13th installment! Having launched his DJ career in 1986 and begun producing music around 1998, KINKA has long shared exceptional music that transcends genres, borders, and eras through his DJ sets and original productions. Marking his first mix release in roughly nine years, this work encapsulates an "enchanting sonic journey" woven from the vast and profound musical landscape KINKA inhabits. Side A opens with an ambient atmosphere—blending percussion and ethereal synths—before centering on jazz, New Age, and folklore elements to infuse a sense of quiet dynamism into a calm, meditative soundscape. Side B kicks off with a magical, percussive disco track by a Cuban violinist, then seamlessly weaves together salsa, Latin jazz, spiritual jazz, hip-hop, and lovers rock. The result is a magnificent mixtape that offers a timeless celebration of "Life With Music."
