90年代半ばからロンドンに拠点を移し、伝説的クラブ Plastic People でのレジデントや、レコード･ショップ Vinyl Junkies〜Reckless Records で14年間バイヤーとして勤めていた経歴を持つ日本人DJ TORU。名だたるトップDJたちからのリスペクトが絶えない、アンダーグラウンド･シーンで絶大な信頼を得ている氏が、2025年に The Trilogy Tapes からリリースしたカセットテープ作品をストック！本作では10分超えの長尺トラックを中心に構成されており、氏のDJプレイからも垣間見えるストイックなデトロイト･テクノを基盤に、UKのダンスホール/ハードコアのムードと予測不能なノイズやエクスペリメンタルな要素を内包した、緊張感の張り詰めた狂気のミュータント･テクノを展開！マスタリングは Saidera Mastering ＆ Recording 所属のDJ /プロデューサー Torei こと Rei Taguchi が担当。

Japanese DJ TORU, who moved to London in the mid-90s and has a background as a resident DJ at the legendary club Plastic People and as a buyer for 14 years at record shops Vinyl Junkies and Reckless Records, is a highly respected figure in the underground scene, admired by top DJs. His cassette tape release from The Trilogy Tapes in 2025 is now available! This work mainly consists of long tracks exceeding 10 minutes, and is based on the stoic Detroit techno glimpsed in his DJ sets, incorporating the mood of UK dancehall/hardcore, unpredictable noise, and experimental elements to create a tense, frenzied mutant techno! Mastering was handled by DJ/producer Torei, also known as Rei Taguchi, of Saidera Mastering & Recording.
