SIC Records の首領 Professor Creepshow も一員である、ジャジーなヒップホップやヴェイパー･ウェイヴを融合させたアメリカを拠点とするビートメイカー･コレクティブ Jazz Playaz による2024年リリースのコンセプト･アルバムが到着しました！本作は東洋思想を西方に広めた哲学者 Alan Watts の講義音声に、彼らのジャズやアンビエント/ヴェイパー･ウェイヴを内包したビートを融合させたコラボレーション作品。Watts の語りそのものを一つの楽器のように扱い、言葉の響きとリズムを音楽と調和させており、タイトルである「聖なるセラピー」の名の通り、深い瞑想やリラクゼーションにぴったりな仕上がりとなっております。

A new concept album, scheduled for release in 2024, has arrived from Jazz Playaz, an American-based beatmaker collective that fuses jazzy hip-hop and vaporwave, and whose members include Professor Creepshow, the head of SIC Records! This work is a collaboration that fuses the lecture audio of philosopher Alan Watts, who spread Eastern thought to the West, with their jazz and ambient/vaporwave-infused beats. Watts's narration itself is treated as an instrument, harmonizing the sound and rhythm of his words with the music, resulting in a work that, as the title "Sacred Therapy" suggests, is perfect for deep meditation and relaxation.
