京都にお店を構える Sixth Garden Records より、関西を拠点とするシーンのキーパーソンたちをフックアップしてきたミックステープ･シリーズの第5弾が到着いたしました！手掛けたのは、Saidera Mastering 所属のエンジニアとしても活躍の幅を広げる Torei。本作では、南アフリカ発祥の音楽ジャンルであるアマピアノをメインに、A面には Sgija（スキガ）/ Sgidongo（スギドンゴ）/ Quantum Sound（クァンタム･サウンド）/ Bacardi（バカルディ）といった、非常にパワフルで中毒性の高いアマピアノのディープなサブ･ジャンルを。B面には2024～2026年にメイン･ストリームでヒットしたキラー･チューンを展開。アマピアノの持つダンスホール的なアプローチや、Torei ならではのハウス/UKマナーなグルーヴを体感できるハイブリッドなミックスに仕上がっております！世界的に見てもアマピアノ尽くしのミックステープはまだなかなか珍しいのでは？ダンスにもリスニングにも振れるユニークな作品です！大推薦！

Sixth Garden Records, based in Kyoto, has released the fifth installment of its mixtape series dedicated to showcasing key figures from the Kansai music scene. This mix was crafted by Torei, an artist who is also making his mark as an engineer at Saidera Mastering. Centered on Amapiano—a genre originating in South Africa—the release features deep, highly powerful, and addictive sub-genres like Sgija, Sgidongo, Quantum Sound, and Bacardi on Side A. Side B showcases killer tunes that have dominated the mainstream charts between 2024 and 2026. The result is a hybrid mix that captures the dancehall-esque spirit of Amapiano while infusing it with the House and UK-style grooves that are Torei’s signature. A mixtape dedicated entirely to Amapiano is a rarity on the global stage, making this a unique release that works just as well for the dance floor as it does for casual listening. Highly recommended!
