1977年にアメリカで結成された伝説的なホラー･パンク/ハードコア･パンク･バンド The Misfits による、幻のデビュー･アルバムのテープ･エディションが入荷いたしました！1978年に録音しながらも、当時リリースしてくれるレコード･レーベルが見つからなかったためにずっとお蔵入りとなっていた作品で、1996年のボックス･セットへの収録を経て、1997年にようやく1枚の独立したアルバムとしてリリースされました。本作には、バンドのポップ･センスが爆発した屈指の人気曲”Hybrid Moments”(A6)や、Metallica がカバーしたことで世界的に有名になった名曲"Last Caress”(A4)など、後年のドロドロとしたハードコア･パンク･サウンドとは異なり、初期の The Misfits らしいポップで非常にキャッチーな名曲が多数収録されております！

We have just received the cassette edition of the elusive debut album by The Misfits, the legendary horror-punk/hardcore-punk band formed in the US in 1977! Although recorded in 1978, the album was shelved for years because the band could not find a label to release it at the time; it finally saw a standalone release in 1997, following its inclusion in a 1996 box set.
