ジャマイカのベテラン･レゲエ･シンガー Leroy Smart が1992～1993年にリリースした傑作アルバムのデッドストック･テープが入荷いたしました！本作は、同名シングルの大ヒットを受け、1992年にジャマイカの名門 Digital-B から、翌1993年にはアメリカのレゲエ大手 VP Records からカセット化された作品です。90年代初期のダンスホール･レゲエを代表する名プロデューサー Bobby Digital の全面プロデュースによって制作。タイトル曲"Talk Bout Friend"(A5)はもちろん、アルバムのオープニングを飾る"Mind Your Own Business"(A1)や、哀愁漂うラスタ･アンセム"Victory"(A4)など、捨て曲一切なしの最高峰ワン･アーティスト･アルバムとして今なお高く評価されています。

We have just received a stock of original cassette tapes from the masterpiece album released by veteran Jamaican reggae singer Leroy Smart between 1992 and 1993! Following the massive success of the title track, this album was released on cassette by the prestigious Jamaican label Digital-B in 1992, and subsequently by the major US reggae label VP Records in 1993. It was produced entirely by Bobby Digital, a legendary figure who defined the early 90s dancehall reggae sound. From the title track "Talk Bout Friend" (A5) to the album opener "Mind Your Own Business" (A1) and the poignant Rastafarian anthem "Victory" (A4), the record contains absolutely no filler tracks; it remains highly acclaimed to this day as a pinnacle of the "one-artist album" format.
