1993年にリリースされた、元PoliceのSTINGによるソロ第4作目にして、90年代を代表する大名盤『Ten Summoner's Tales』のUSオリジナル・カセットテープ。

名曲「Fields of Gold」や「If I Ever Lose My Faith In You」など、彼のキャリアの中でも特に美しく洗練された楽曲が揃う本作。中でもB面に収録されている「Shape of My Heart」は、映画『レオン』のエンディングテーマとしても知られ、後のヒップホップやR&Bシーンでも幾度となくサンプリングされてきた永遠のクラシックです。哀愁漂うガットギターの旋律とSTINGの知的なボーカルが、文学的で深みのある世界観を鮮やかに描き出します。

The original US cassette tape release of Ten Summoner's Tales, the fourth solo album by former Police frontman Sting, released in 1993 and standing as a definitive masterpiece of the '90s.

This album is packed with some of the most beautifully refined tracks of his career, including masterpieces like "Fields of Gold" and "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You." Notably, Side B features "Shape of My Heart"—widely known as the ending theme for the film Léon: The Professional and an eternal classic that has been sampled countless times in the hip-hop and R&B scenes ever since. The melancholic melody of the nylon-string guitar and Sting's intellectual vocals vividly paint a literary and profound worldview.
