イギリス出身の世界的なSSW/ピアニスト Elton John が1992年に発表した同名アルバム『The One』から第1弾シングルとしてカットされたシングル･カセット。アルコールやドラッグの依存症から克服し、再出発したエルトンの復活を印象づけた作品で、全米チャートでも最高9位（ビルボードHot 100）を記録した名曲です。ジャケット･デザインを手掛けたのはファッション･デザイナーであり、友人の故 Gianni Versace 氏が担当。

This single cassette was the first single from the 1992 album of the same name by world-renowned British singer-songwriter and pianist Elton John. The album marked Elton's comeback after overcoming alcohol and drug addiction and making a fresh start, and it's a classic that peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US charts. The cover design was created by his friend, the late fashion designer Gianni Versace.
