NY拠点の老舗エレクトロニカ/アンビエント･レーベル 12k 首領 Taylor Deupree と、アルゼンチンの音楽家Federico Durand による2020年リリースのコラボレーション･アルバムです。NYとアルゼンチンという離れた場所から、共通の関心事である「山」をテーマに遠隔で制作されたという本作。ピアノ、アコースティック楽器、カセットテープのノイズが重なる温かな響きに、微細な電子音と深いドローンが空間を形成。静寂とミニマリズム、そして鳥のさえずりなどの有機的な響きが混ざり合う、レーベルのカラーが色濃く出た非常に繊細なアンビエント作品に仕上がっております。

This is a 2020 collaborative album by Taylor Deupree, head of the long-established NY-based electronica/ambient label 12k, and Argentinian musician Federico Durand. Created remotely from the distant locations of NY and Argentina, the album is based on their shared interest in "mountains." Warm sounds are layered from piano, acoustic instruments, and cassette tape noise, while subtle electronic sounds and deep drones form the space. The result is a very delicate ambient work that strongly reflects the label's style, blending silence, minimalism, and organic sounds such as birdsong.
