We've got the second installment in the mixtape series focusing on Japanese city pop and boogie, released by XL Middleton's MoFunk Records! Following XL Middleton, the second installment is produced by Kaistar, a DJ/organizer based on the American West Coast and the founder of the eponymous party held in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Side A features J-POP and J-FUNK from the late 80s and early 90s, the heyday of CDs, which will evoke nostalgia for any Japanese person, while Side B is a modern mix focusing on current city pop that will surprise you with its unexpected digging. With his long background as a dancer, he's been able to create a truly upbeat mixtape that will make you want to move!
