アメリカ拠点のビート集団 Jazz Playaz のメンバーとしても活動している Professor Creepshow が主宰する SIC Records から、同じくアメリカを拠点に、ビートメイカー/プロデューサー、そして映像制作などマルチな活動を見せる CHOP! によるインストゥルメンタル･ビート作品が到着いたしました！本作では、ソウルやファンク、ラウンジ･ミュージックなどの古い音源を独自のセンスでサンプリングし、あえて低音質でザラついた質感に仕上げたローファイ･ビーツを展開。収録時間は全体で約48分ですが、全33曲という細かく刻まれた大量のショート･トラックで構成されており、まるでラジオのチャンネルやテレビの画面をザッピングしているかのようなユニークな構成の楽曲が連続して流れるドラマチックなアルバムに仕上がっております。

From SIC Records, run by Professor Creepshow, a member of the US-based beat collective Jazz Playaz, comes an instrumental beat album by CHOP!, also based in the US, who is a beatmaker/producer and also involved in video production. In this work, he samples old sounds from soul, funk, and lounge music with his unique sense, and creates lo-fi beats with a deliberately low-quality, gritty texture. The total running time is about 48 minutes, but it is composed of a large number of finely divided short tracks, resulting in a dramatic album with a unique structure where songs play one after another, as if you were zapping through radio channels or a TV screen.
