Yavireri: Los que viven en lo profundo 【TAPE】- Hánkel Bellido

「ヤビレリ」はマチゲンカ語で “深淵に住む者たち” を意味し、文字を持たない彼らの言語は、歌やささやき、助言を通じて伝承される。本作は、Hánkel Bellido がペルー南東部アマゾンのマチゲンカ族との 2年間にわたる共存・録音 によるフィールドレコーディングした音源。。収録されたのは、自然界・霊界・音響世界が交錯する歌や物語、サウンドスケープ、朝を迎える歌、子どもを育む歌、鳥と語り合う歌、死者に別れを告げる歌、見えない世界から戻る歌など日常生活そのものの音の証言が詰まっています。 辺境音楽の精神性 が息づく、未体験の音世界を体感できる作品

“Yabireli” means “those who dwell in the abyss” in the Machiguenga language. Their language, lacking a written form, is passed down through songs, whispers, and counsel. This work features field recordings captured by Hánkel Bellido during two years of coexistence and recording with the Machiguenga people in the southeastern Peruvian Amazon. It captures the very essence of daily life through songs and stories where the natural world, the spirit world, and the world of sound intersect. It includes soundscapes, songs greeting the dawn, songs nurturing children, songs conversing with birds, songs bidding farewell to the dead, and songs returning from the unseen world. This work offers an encounter with an uncharted soundscape where the spirituality of frontier music lives on.
